MATRIXWORKS™ is a revolutionary process that utilizes principles
of New Science, Whole Systems Thinking, Spirituality and Contemporary Psychology to understand and support the growth and development of healthy functioning groups.
MATRIXWORKS™ has been successfully applied:
- By community workers, to build healthy groups in communities.
- By teachers, to strengthen group dynamics in classroom
settings and make learning easier.
- By trainers, to improve both the effectiveness and the
durability of their material.
- By business personnel to generate the capacity for innovation
and creativity.
- By family members to begin new patterns of interaction.
MATRIXWORKS™ has
been influenced by Will Schultz’s Emotional Climate Model of three stages – Inclusion,
Conflict/Chaos, and Mutual Connnection. These three stages continually spiral
to transform a group into a living system. Each weekend is taught experientially,
so that participants gain a felt sense in their bodies of this living work.
Living System - All human systems (bodies, individuals,
families, groups, organizations) are living systems. Basic Goodness – At the
core of every individual and group is basic goodness. Goodness manifests as qualities
of Compassion, Love,Balance and Joy. Witnessing – An individual and a group are
always expressing as much health as possible in any given moment; if the health
is acknowledged, it will express more clearly. Interdependence – Nothing happens
in isolation; things arise in relationship to each other; “nothing is itself
without everything else.”
Emotional Intelligence - Living systems move toward the expression of greater
coherence, complexity, and cohesion. Awareness – Healing happens in the present
moment.
