Esteemed Teacher, Thich Nat Han, quotes an ancient Buddhist Sutra which says: "The next Buddha will be the Sangha" The term Buddha, means AWAKENESS. The term Sangha means COMMUNITY.

What this means for us in today's world, is that, perhaps, we will awaken in community rather than as isolated individuals.

Because this may be our most important evolutionary task, possibly our evolutionary imperative, the application of the MATRIXWORKS™ model to help develop leadership within Dharma Centers(and other spiritual groups) is of great interest to the MATRIXWORKS™ faculty.

We are interested in cultivating the capacity for Collective Leadership within spiritual groups to enhance both the effectiveness and empowerment of the membership of these groups.

In Aug. 2008, Mukara will co-lead a Leadership Development Program for Dharma Center Leaders with Susan Sjjki at the Shambhala Mountain Center in Colorado. Invitations have been sent to over 4000 centers. We expect this program to be a major step forward in linking good intention with excellent leadership training so that we can, indeed, wake up together.
